Thousands have fled recent clashes in DR Congo and crossed the border into Uganda. We're on the ground to help refugees, providing food, water and psychosocial support.

We passed out awareness ribbons for Genocide Awareness Month to show our support for victims of genocide and take a stance against genocide, an inhumane crime more often committed in times of war. Thank you to everyone who helped make and pass them out! #Genocide

We want to thank our guest speaker Sarah Musa for taking the time to give a talk at our meeting. She is the founder of the nonprofit, PIMT International, working to improve health and education opportunities or women and children in The Gambia and the greater West African region.

This week's the last week to donate to our joint Spring School Supplies Drive with UNICEF! All donations will be sent to PIMT's free school for underprivileged children who were out of school in The Gambia. Help a child obtain an education and positively change countless lives!

Our annual winter clothing drive will be going to Syrian refugees in the Azraq Refugee Camp in Jordan. Donation boxes are located by the main office, by room 2010, and in the career center. Donate any winter clothing by December 15th to help someone live warmly this winter! 🕊️

It is impossible to meet refugees and not be deeply moved by their stories - people who had to flee their homes, leaving everything behind to save their loved ones and themselves. People become refugees not by choice, but by circumstance.
