What levels of incompetence are in play with The National Lottery - I wonder how much money has be lost for good causes because you can’t run an online service?

If there were awards for this sort of thing (perhaps there are?) CrossCountry Trains would get my nomination for the most overcrowded unpleasant service. Reading to Birmingham trains routinely standing room only and £60 for an advanced one way ticket. Shocking. Treated like cattle.

Am seriously considering routing from Birmingham to Reading via London on all future trips rather than suffer the interminable torture that is the Birmingham to Reading service offered up by CrossCountry Trains expensive tickets and standing room only.

Just had a call with customer service at TalkTalk . It was like two monologues in search of a conversation. I wondered if it was a robot I was speaking to but I realised the service centre operator was on a script that he would not deviate from even if didn’t fix my problem!

And this week’s prize for the least accessible customer support centre goes to Booking.com ! A prize to any consumer who is able to find an email address or phone number to call for help. Been stuck in a loop for far too long.... Poor service or deliberate?

Rubbish service from SWR Help south west trains between Reading and London Waterloo this morning. Last two trains cancelled. How many faulty trains are you running. Becoming a major deterrent to travelling. An utter shambles

Seriously? The 8.20 pm train from Waterloo to Winnersh/Earley/Reading has no toilets. That’s a journey of over an hour. Can that be right or even reasonable? #fullbladder

Poor performance from @VirginTrains tonight. Birmingham train abandoned at Watford. Following train slow. No communication. Crowded and hot

CrossCountry Trains -a shocking performance again tonight. £123 fare for delays both ways. No seats on way home and a missed connection. A stranded 14 yr old daughter. What a shambles! I am furious.

Appalling service from M&S - ordered a Christmas hamper for brother’s family a month before Christmas - despite providing a contact no they couldn’t find the house! Not delivered and closed today. Less than one day to source alternative. Rubbish, rubbish, rubbish

Uber. Oh dear. Been a fan until tonight and then I experienced the most unprofessional, discourteous service I have ever known. I will use ‘proper’ taxis from now and hope that you go out of businesss. Awful, unprofessional and frankly unsafe!

So your company accepts a booking. The driver calls to check where I am and a minute later cancels. Unprofessional - a breach of the great British ‘cab rank’ tradition. A second driver takes up the challenge - he also cancels. Where is the professionalism? Useless!
