Dr. (!) Zakhar Krekhno & I are excited to share our work investigating the role of the type II secretion system in enteric pathogen Citrobacter rodentium! We found that the T2SS contributes to host colonization via mucus degradation by secreted effectors! tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.10…
