On National #lawenforcement Appreciation Day, we thank our men and women in blue who bravely protect our communities daily. I am incredibly thankful for our outstanding Sweetwater Police officers who have worked tirelessly and selflessly to ensure our residents are safe!

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr's peaceful fight for equality and change has made him a beacon of hope, love, and justice. Today, we take the time to remember MLK, but to honor his legacy truly is to live a life with love, not hate.

Thank you to our District 12 Commissioner Juan Carlos Bermudez and De Mi Pais for donating three pallets stacked with juices to distribute to our community during our monthly food distributions. This donation will greatly benefit our residents.

Today is a special day because we celebrated the grand opening of Lil Abner II apartments which offer, 244 affordable housing units for our senior and low-income families. Thanks to private/public partnerships, we can work together to combat our current housing crisis!
