Rangiku was folding her laundry, a low stress chore that kept her busy, when he called. Seeing his name on her caller ID made her stop everything to answer. "Hello, handsome. How lovely of you to call. I was just thinking of you.~"

"It's been kind of boring, actually. Just folding laundry and organizing stuff. What's your question?" She leans back into the bed, paying close attention to her fiancé.

Rangiku was silent for a moment, taking the question into consideration before she replied. "You can go with her. I don't mind. I think it would be nice to have a little bonding moment between you two. Besides, my ego isn't so fragile that I don't trust you. So go ahead."

"I love you too.~ Oh! Real quick, could you maybe pick up some strawberry ice cream on the way back home? I'm having one of those weird food craving days. Don't ask what I'm adding to it.." Someone sounds sus..

"Thank you! I look forward to hearing about your day. Talk to you later!"

Ending the call, she then sends him a text with at least three stores - one owned by Yoruichi, where he could look to find dresses. 📱 Happy dress hunting! ♡

{Apologies for being slow with replies tonight. I'm going to be slow asf until Friday. Therapy evenings just make my brain feel like mush. Trying to focus is not easy. Doesn't help I was dizzy through 85% of my therapy session. Can't wait to see my doctor next week.
