“Ugh… Fine. But you better have more for me when I finish this. It’ll be quick…” She floated off, book in hand. Her expectations were low…

She was reading a book, carelessly flying through the halls until she passed her. Of course she immediately came close. “… You good there?”

“Huh… You know… I’ve been reading some books about cooking…” She turned her attention to the tv, flying over to sit beside the couch. “And name…? Uh, I have some ideas…”

“I mean… It doesn’t SEEM hard. Just throw some crap together that looks good? And put seasonings if you want it to not taste bad.” She was hoping she wouldn’t ask about the name again… “Well… I was reading story books from other countries, and they had lots of pretty names.”

“Wow. Are you always putting others down like that? … I read a psychology book too.” She slammed her book shut. “And I’ll tell you when I come to that.”

“By the way… I was reading this story about a wizard. He did all this magic stuff and… I think I can do it too! It didn’t seem that hard.” She looked at her hands, the book in her lap. “Imagine what I could get done with that…”

"Hm, do you now...? Interesting..." Her smile grew, it was full of mischief. "...Lay down, I'm cooking tonight!" She got up, ready to fly away before she could be stopped!

“Where do you hide your recipes?”

She had a basic cook book, she was going to make ramen, something easy for her to start with. “I can handle this!”

“Lots of reading… I’ve picked up on some little tricks here and there too.”

She smirked, lifting her hand into view, she snapped her fingers which caused a tiny flame to spark from them. It was far from big, but it was the start of something more.
