In TBI rehab they talk the positive impact of kindness—how much more you’ll notice it…and I do, especially at ⁦⁦YMCA Canada⁩ …so grateful for their presence in our community-in my teens as a lifeguard and now as a mom. Positive community culture!

This ‘broken crayon’ is an elementary educator so is confident that broken crayons offer a unique opportunity to think differently about the art you might create or techniques with which you can now experiment, because they aren’t the standard crayon. My ‘cheerleader’ agrees.

This time a year ago, the brain rehab folks let me out for the day so I could go trick or treating with my one-year old. She’s now 2 and although can be challenging, our world would benefit from more strongly opinioned and voiced people, resolute to make brave choices.

After a morning of reptiles interactions, reorganizing her bedroom all afternoon and our neighbourhood walk with Stan, it has been an action-packed day of curiosity and new insights for us both.

The best school leaders, in my mind, have the drive to create/cultivate conditions in which our colleagues will make brave choices. So, yes, bring on the criticism that may result from our drive to create those conditions. I'd be proud to hear it.
