#6 SW hosted #11 Newtown in the second round of the LL CT State tournament this afternoon . The game was tied at half, and then SW exploded for 5 goals from 5 different players to win 5-0 and earn a spot in the Quarterfinals. #ctbsoc

#6 SW traveled to #3 Farmington in the LL State Quarterfinals and came away with a 2-1 win. Hayden Xhokaxhiu scored early to put the Bobcats up 1-0. JFHS tied it late in the 1st with a PK. In the 2nd, SW earned a PK and Xhokaxhiu gave SW the lead. Adi P-K earned the win in net.

With his 2 goals today in Farmington, Hayden Xhokaxhiu is the South Windsor all-time leading goal scorer in a single season for regular and postseason play with 34 goals. He overtakes Nick Heckt’s record of 32 goals set in 2015. #ctbsoc

Former Bobcat and captain Nick Heckt came to talk to the boys today about how to prepare for a semifinal game. Heckt played on the team when SW last made it to the semis of the State tournament in 2014.
