For World Book Day we have been learning about Aboriginal Dreamtime stories and have been exploring the themes through English, Art and Geography activities.

Congratulations to our Pupil of the Week who has been chosen for being assiduous, punctilious, reverential and self-effacing. These are wonderful attributes and link very closely to our ready, respectful and safe school rules.

Well done to Swallows’ Pupil of the Week who is a bright star that is always shining. He is a good all rounder and always puts effort into every task. He is a distant lone star as he works quietly and independently whilst demonstrating good behaviour without drawing attention.

In Art with Mr Morris, Swallows designed and made clay pieces for a Viking game similar to chess. Very intricate pieces as you can see.

Today we learnt that the angles in a triangle total 180 degrees.

In Science, we have been learning about water resistance and how it affects motion. We have been dropping blu-tac shapes through water to see which fall quickest. ScienceMPS
