Home after an amazing week vacation at an all inclusive resort in the Mayan Riviera. Was much needed after an emotionally draining 6 months.

For me it depends on how engrossed I am in the book. If it's a well written book that sucks me right in, and/or I have the time and energy to allow myself to completely escape into the story, then it can play almost like a movie in my mind. But I have experienced all four.

I am angry. Devastated. I feel helpless, hopeless. 3 yrs ago I came forward & pressed charges against my half brother for sexually abusing me when I was a child. Due to his ages at the time, it got broken into 2 trials: Youth & Adult. He was acquitted for both. I am struggling.
