TThe SVXC program made history at the Crawford Co. Sectional as both the boys’ & girls’ teams advanced to the Regional in the same year. Carson Brown’s 2nd place finish marked the highest finish for a SV runner. 3 in a row for the boys; first time since 2003 for the girls!

Carson Brown's last lap at the Carmel Distance Showcase on Friday. He was towards the back of the pack after 2 laps but worked his way up to win Heat #7 and smash his 3200m school record by whopping 15 seconds - 9:11.29!!

Carson Brown finished his high school career with an amazing 5th place in the 3200m at the IHSAA State Finals! He surged from 12th to 5th in the closing laps. His 1600m splits were 4:32/4:30 and his last lap was 60 seconds! Carson's time of 9:02.15 is a new school record!!

Congrats to our 2 seniors, Christian Hamilton and Carson Brown who closed out their remarkable HS track and field careers yesterday at the IHSAA State Finals. Collectively they own 7 school records and have raised the bar for what is means to be a Springs Valley T&F athlete.
