This is a cost effective, natural and sustainable carbon capture machine. It’s been there for decades and doesn’t cost the taxpayer Β£30bn.

Imagine a carbon capture machine that doesn’t cost Β£30bn, looks beautiful, lasts for generations, captures solar energy and converts water, carbon dioxide and minerals into oxygen and energy-rich organic compounds whilst reducing surrounding temperatures and pollution? 🌳

The grey belt rules are shocking and are resulting in green field land receiving planning permission. This is an interesting attempt to protect green fields within green belt kenilworth.nub.news/news/local-new…

Ridiculous and shameful. The Labour government should be supporting increases in domestic food production rather than finding ways to diminish it.

So National Grid UK why do you think it's acceptable to send compulsory purchase letters to residents and then not be able to explain what it means or where the pylons might go? I've just spent 30 mins with a distraught lady talking her through things & telling her how to get help

Stephen Parkes National Grid UK You would think so, wouldn’t you? She received the letter and map out of the blue this week, over three years into the process. She rang the number and they were unable to explain what the impact would be and didn’t tell her to get a land agent (fees paid by NG) to advise her.

Rosie P πŸ¦‡ 🦎 πŸ•·οΈ 🦭 πŸƒπŸŒ³πŸš²πŸ’§ National Grid UK I was so pleased to read your post this morning as I’m convinced that there will be many people who will be confused receiving a CPO Compulsory Purchase Order. It’s a disgrace that someone can suddenly faced with a position where they have to fight to keep their own house.

We're not the only people who have noticed NG's sloppy drafting. Exasperated is how we'd describe this letter from the Lead of the Examining Authority - at least 10 errors and multiple failures to carry out adequate surveys and reports #rethinksealink #saveminstermarshers

This is exasperating Department for Energy Security and Net Zero because you could avoid the Β£4.2bn constraint costs by listening to local people and using an underground HVDC system for Norwich to Tilbury. thetimes.com/business-money…

Exasperating Times 10/7 Department for Energy Security and Net Zero You can avoid Β£4.2bn constraint costs by listening to local people and using underground HVDC system for Norwich/Tilbury. Cost same as pylons (please ask to see our analysis) far quicker, and not resisted. This can be solved!@PylonsEAnglia

Just the kind of rhetoric that will help Reform get in. The Countryside is everyone's back yard & there are better, cheaper ( over lifetime) options available but Ed & co. just want their names in lights & to hell with the rest of us. facebook.com/groups/pylonse…
