I was pleasantly surprised to find some love Rainbow Chard growing next to my massive Mustard Greens when I took off the fleece cloche. Not only have I started another batch in the greenhouse, I now have some to eat as well. I don’t like being without this fabulous green leaf.

Morning everybody. Well, I made it through the night even though it wasn’t pleasant. Considering I was only bitten 3 times by the bees they sure do pack a punch. It’s very unfortunate that the poor little bees have died. Did you know that only female honey bees have stingers?

When is it time to give up on your chard? Well if you check out photo number 2 this gives you an idea. 😳😳😳😳 It’s not actually my chard, it’s my allotment neighbours. She pulled it all out yesterday. You could eat the flower spikes if you wanted to. #gardening

I pulled up a garlic bulb to see how they were and voila, not too bad. 👍👍👍 This variety is Early Purple Wight and it was planted at the end of October Last year. I’ve been very lucky that the rust which is prominent on other allotments hasn’t struck my garlic 🧄 #garlic

We had a lovely day exploring Oslo. The first and second photos were taken at the Botanic Garden. Of course I was drawn to the greenhouses. I do love a greenhouse 💚💚💚 The giant water Lilly was in bud but hadn’t opened unfortunately. There were some beautiful cactus flowering.
