Often, we opt not to look forward with expectancy because we don’t want to be disappointed. It’s true that our plans don’t always turn out as we’d hoped. But the very nature of holy anticipation is what our souls desperately need.

May the Lord dig up the stones of pain, regret, and angst from your soil and deliver you once and for all. May He turn over the soil of your heart and plant new seeds of faith, vision, and purpose specific to your life's calling. May He heal those deep places that nag you.

May the sense of Jesus' presence be especially tangible to you today. May the reality of His love sink deep into your bones. May His voice ring true amidst the chaos of the culture. May you refuse worry, fear, and insecurity because you belong to Him.

May you praise God for His faithfulness to you. May you open your hands and receive what He so lovingly wants to give. May you look past your circumstances and see Jesus who reigns over all. And may you move forward in faith knowing all things are possible through Him.

May God open your eyes wide to the wonder of His great affection for you. May you suddenly feel, know, and believe that you are deeply loved, abundantly cared for, and profoundly called. May your heart awaken to the heavenly resources you've yet to lay hold of.

Truly holy lament is a sacred practice in which we allow our heartbreak to move us toward God and not away from Him. We cry out to the God who listens, cares deeply, and is infinitely able to redeem our story. And we believe that He’ll do something about that heartbreak.

May you embrace the grace to leave your past in God's hands. May you have the grit to face down your fears. May you have the gumption to go after your God-given dreams. And may you see God's glory shining over every part of your life. He gives good gifts to His children.

May God set you FREE from the bondage of others' opinions! May He awaken in you fresh passion to live out His purposes. May He stir up fresh faith to take risks & to believe Him for great things. May He pour out peace to trust Him when you cannot see what your eyes long to see.

It’s time to put a “Road Closed” sign on the unhealthy thought patterns that lead you into the ditch. It’s time to create healthy neural pathways. God made a masterpiece when He made me! And He designed me for a unique and powerful purpose. I can trust Him. (See Ephesians 2:10)

May you—more and more—become a grateful person. Spend some time with Jesus today and thank Him for the good gifts you enjoy. Thank Him for saving grace, new mercies, and the promise of His presence. You can’t imagine all of the ways God has provided and intervened on your behalf.

In those places where you feel like sighing, may Jesus put a new song in your heart. Where you're weary from holding on, may He give you new courage to stand strong. Where you've waited long to see the breakthrough, may He very soon do what only He can do.

Lord Jesus, Release fresh faith in me. Open my eyes to see Your wonder-working power all around me. Stir in me a passion to embrace the sacred moments You provide. Help me not to live beneath my spiritual privilege when You've provided more-than-enough grace for the journey.

May Jesus tilt your chin upward so you can sense His smile and more clearly hear His voice. May He speak a surprising word of encouragement to you so you have the strength to keep marching onward. May He build a bridge where you least expect one.

Jesus wants to help us sort through our story in a way that brings us healing and fullness. He designed our bodies and our souls to thrive. We can trust Him as He leads us through the healing process.

That’s such a great question! For me, I first look back and remember my history with God. Often, when we suffer for long periods of time, our backstory compresses and we can no longer see the goodness in it. We only remember how many days we’ve suffered. But when I remember his

The enemy often takes past fears, stirs up the idea of worse scenarios, and then tempts you to imagine a terrible future that God’s not in. But no such scenario exists in the life of the believer; Jesus is always with you, and He’ll never abandon you.
