Not the opening day we were looking for dropping both games to start the season 0-2. The signs are there but still plenty of things to learn and room to grow. Excited about this group and ready to keep working before we're back at it on Friday.

Schedule Update: Surry's home softball games this Friday with BCC Dolphins have been cancelled due to field conditions. The Lady Knights will now travel to FTCC Trojan Athletics on Friday for a doubleheader starting at 1:00 pm.

Went 1-1 today. Lots of learning and growing pains from a young team but excuses don't win games. Time to get back to work still plenty of ball left to play.

Dropped both games of our home opener to fall to 1-5 this season. Not the ideal start but time to get back to work to keep improving! That's the great thing about playing 60 games, we still have plenty of ball left to play and time to get things corrected. Go Knights!

Dropped both games today. Continuing to learn and grow as a team as well as individually. Quick turnaround with another opportunity to play tomorrow. Got to take it one game at a time and one play at a time. As always go Knights!

Picked up two W's yesterday! The team came out clicking on all cylinders leading to a run rule victory in game 1. And followed that up by gritting out a win in extra innings in game 2. Lots of positives but still room for us to improve. Got to keep working. As always go Knights!

Not the way we wanted to end our weekend with two more losses. No excuses just have to play better and finish games. Got to keep working. Still go Knights! #HoldTheRope

Picked up two W's today! Not our best performance on the field but found a way to get it done. Continuing to build on the positives and keep cutting out the negatives. One game at a time one play at a time. Go Knights! #HoldTheRope

Picked up two W's today! Two good team wins with a run rule in game 1 and a walk-off victory in game 2. Shoutout to Freshman pitcher Lani Campbell on throwing a no hitter in game 1!! Great way to start our trip but we're right back at it tomorrow. Go Knights!
