The seminal paper of Shimon Sakaguchi published in 1995 The Journal of Immunology where he discovered CD4+ CD25+ cells that actively suppress autoimmunity. It was the first time T regulatory cells appeared in the literature. Not all Nobel Prize winning work need to be in glamorous journals.
