Nocturnal pulse oximetry (NPO) may be an alternative to diagnose moderate-severe OSA if access to cardiorespiratory polygraphy (CRP) is limited. Low sensitivities to detect mild OSA mean that confirmatory CRP is needed if NPO is normal.

Early morning class on the importance of sleep. It felt amazing to interact with the kids and to practice some preventative medicine with this wellness initiative, to happen monthly at various schools, of which sleep is and should be a big part. #itsallaboutsleep

Today we concluded the first one-to-one hands-on Pediatric Polysomnography Training Programme at our Sleep Lab. Our first candidate was Dr Sindhuja - a US trained Pediatric Pulmonologist. We all had a great time immersed in the world of EEG waves and respiratory events.
