For my dissertation I'm speaking to care workers to understand how they perceive the work they do, how they think others perceive it, and what they make of the current focus on professionalising the workforce. Do you know any potential participants? Please do get in touch / share

Thanks for sharing Rachel Kelso This shows so well the challenges and pressures of the homecare role, and highlights the value of the care and support provided (practical, social and emotional).

This is a powerful demonstration of the importance #homecare. We are researching experiences of homecare workers at end of life (& this really resonates!). If you are a homecare worker providing EOL care in #Hull #Bradford or #Bromley do get in touch at [email protected]

Homecare workers - do you work 'in a bubble' & with only a 'breadcrumb trail' of notes and information to connect you to colleagues? See below for information about Rachel Kelso's work to bring together homecare workers for support & to get a place at the policy table ⬇️

New paper from our SUPPORTED study of homecare at end-of-life. Findings from a rapid review of homecare @ EOL. Key findings - HCWs provide support in complex situations & emotionally demanding situations, yet can be isolated and under-valued within the wider care team #socialcare
