Thanks for sharing Rachel Kelso This shows so well the challenges and pressures of the homecare role, and highlights the value of the care and support provided (practical, social and emotional).

This is a powerful demonstration of the importance #homecare. We are researching experiences of homecare workers at end of life (& this really resonates!). If you are a homecare worker providing EOL care in #Hull #Bradford or #Bromley do get in touch at [email protected]

Join this care worker on an unexpected trip... to parliament! UNISON - UK's largest union - thanks so much for inviting me along to the parliamentary briefing about proposals for a National Care Service. #homecare #domiciliarycare #socialcare #communitycare #communitycareworker #carework

Homecare workers - do you work 'in a bubble' & with only a 'breadcrumb trail' of notes and information to connect you to colleagues? See below for information about Rachel Kelso's work to bring together homecare workers for support & to get a place at the policy table ⬇️

Our member Homecare Association's report reveals: 35% said most discharges they were involved in were not safe 55% of providers said discharge paperwork doesn't reflect the person's needs & views 63% said people are being discharged from hospital too soon, leading to readmission. 👇👇
