It’s an honor to officially become Deputy Supervisor today. We have so much planned and will serve the people of Blaine County every single day!

Another project that is on the way is that we are putting up signs to indicate the border of Blaine County on all roads in and out of the county. This has been a source of confusion for people.

Following Governor Gonzales’ lead, we also will be instituting a tax on social media companies that do business in Blaine County.

Finally had the chance to visit Blaine County. During my visit, Supervisor Skiterrly took me about the county to visit farms while we chatted. Seeing as SA is the leading state in agriculture, I believe me must help farmers in any way we can so the industry continues to thrive.

Welcome Governor Chambers to our county - our relationship with the state government is a top priority, and we work hard to keep officials informed on our progress and what support we need.

Got to meet with Secretary Miller today and discussed the importance of the local agricultural economy. Blaine County leads in the farming industry in the western US but also is a productive home to many small family farms that are crucial to our communities.

We’ll be seeing the May Gray over the Alamo Sea basin and coastal areas until late this morning but bright and sunny this afternoon with highs around 90. Bring your sunscreen and wear a hat, it’s a desert out there folks.

Drive safe. Race safe. We are working with law enforcement on racing opportunities and road closures throughout our county. We have plenty of space for everyone.

It is my pleasure to welcome Sheriff Springer. He’s a man with a great record and the strongest references and a pride in his work that will serve the citizens of this county well.

My replacement in the Sheriff's Office is going to be none other than my faithful Undersheriff, Ashley Williams. She's been with the sheriff's office for around 20 years now and she'll make a fantastic sheriff while I'm here doing the people's work.
