What do you mean all the motets in MO are anonymous?

QUALS WEEK. Montpellier Codex and Stile Moderno Trio Sonata tomorrow, Debussy and Symbolism on Tuesday. I defend all three essays on Friday. Wish me luck!

So my first round quals essays were about 4 pages single spaced each. If I did all that from memory, why was I ever worried about an 8-10 page essay for a class? 😂 I wrote each of those quals essays in 2 hours with decent citation accuracy. (Decent for memory that is.)

This might be my favorite jazz article of all time.

Yeah I’m working on a conference/journal paper so extremely close to this. Glad to see I’m not crazy.

This was such an amazing experience!

All I’m saying is that the internet should know by now that when I type in “UNT catalog” I never mean the course catalog, only the library. Yes, it’s my fault, but if AI is gonna take over the world someday, I at least want SOME benefits.

Got one of those gimmick printed hurdy gurdys that you gotta put together 😂 I’m no good at it, and I messed up a bit on the drone string, but the mechanics are there. It even came with rosin, despite using fishing line strings. Still, it was a fun project to do! hard to turn tho
