It's 10:30. Mayor Zohran Kwame Mamdani's daily press briefing was scheduled for 10. The public and press are eagerly awaiting answers on the resignation of a high-ranking NYPD chief, the city's purchase of a struggling bus company owned by a de Blasio donor, basic answers on schools, etc etc

Oddly the city's stopped releasing data on COVID numbers in hotspot zip codes and the mayor's public health advisor doesn't have the numbers handy at today's briefing.
