Wow. The Idaho House of Representatives just killed a desperately needed teacher pay raise over completely made-up fears of "critical race theory." What a disgraceful way to treat the teachers of our state after all they've been through this past year.

Our schools don’t have a “social justice” problem. They have a mold-in-the-textbooks problem. We’re cutting programs in rural schools & teachers are leaving. The real agenda of those decrying “social justice” is to dismantle public education. It’s time to wake up & fight back.

We don’t yet know how many calls Gov. Little received urging him to veto SB 1110, but it appears the phones were ringing almost non-stop all week. If he doesn’t decide by 11:10am tomorrow, the clock runs out & he effectively signs the bill—and signs away our initiative rights.
