Der Mythos, dass Süßstoffe den Appetit steigern, wird durch aktuelle Forschung widerlegt. Zahlreiche Studien belegen, dass mit Süßstoff versetztes Wasser im Körper genauso wirkt wie reines Wasser. Süßstoffe können also die Lust auf Süßes stillen, nicht aber den Hunger.
