Good numbers in the trap! High temperatures and overcast = perfect conditions. No more hawk moths but all these four new for the year and this is the first green silver lines in the campus trap! #universitymothchallenge SwanseaZoology Butterfly Conservation 🦋

Last nights moth trap was the night of the intruder. Chafers, shieldbugs, yellowjackets, hornets, caddisflies, carabids, honeybees, bumblebees, flies and then finally a few moths. Will have to seriously re-think trapping like this in this heat and location Swansea University Biosciences Entomology Outreach #moths
