People who don't walk along Murray Rd don't realise how narrow the footpath is & how close the 60kmh traffic goes to pedestrians. It can be terrifying.

When you walk along Murray Rd in front of Coburg Lake Reserve, it is scary - not enough room for a pram + one other person beside them to walk in some places. Cars whizzing by @ 60mph+ with no separation between the footpath & the cars. Many terrible car accidents. Action needed

Even the traffic lights @ Elizabeth St aren't a fully safe place to cross Murray Road in North Coburg

If you only drive along Murray Rd or only occasionally visit Coburg Lake Reserve, you might not realise how dangerous Murray Rd is for pedestrians & cyclists. The footpath is super narrow. Pedestrians are just centimetres from fast vehicles.
