GW1 of the Prem (top): - Arsenal have a great chance of usurping City this season, but City are still formidable and played well without Rodri. - Liverpool had a very difficult fixture but came away with 3 points and a clean sheet. Confidence for Slot. - Villa / Man U for 4th…

GW1 of the Prem (bottom): - All newly promoted gave a good account of themselves. - Leicester got a point but still think they will struggle most with Southampton. - Horror opening day for Everton but always feel Dyche teams will come good. - The mid table battle will be tight.

GWs 1&2 of the Championship: - Burnley out of the traps fast, will be hard to topple. - Disappointing start for Leeds + loss of players. - Encouraging for Oxford, Pompey, Derby. Think Derby are the weakest of the 3. - Disappointed with Cardiff. - Impressed with Sunderland.

GWs 1&2 of League 1: - Birmingham settling in with 4 points, Rotherham not got going yet. - Stockport and Mansfield carry on League 2 form. Really good sides. - Surprising Crawley. - Charlton 6 points but yet to hit top gear. Expect them to be stayers. - Shrewsbury in trouble.

GWs 1&2 of League 2: - Gillingham look strongest of the favourites. - Awful for MK Dons. Changed league prediction to Port Vale, still expected MK to start well. - Bromley great start, less expected than Chesterfield under Paul Cook. - Crewe fallen off a cliff.

Some really good sides in the EFL this season in general. In League 1 some traditionally strong teams will do better than expected (Wigan and Reading). League 2 will see the likes of Donny and Bradford strong deep in play off contention. Sarcevic is the final boss of League 2.
