Christmas Lights Switch-on 2024!

It’s time to say “Thank You” to all our funding partners, sponsors and supporters that make the Christmas lights possible. Today we say THANK YOU to Stratford-upon-Avon Town Council who continue to be our biggest financial supporter.

Thank you to Stratford Upon Avon BID and their levey payers who have supported us with grants towards the Christmas Lights. The BID are also one of the main organisers and funders of the switch-on event.

Shakespeare Memorial Fountain bedecked with Christmas lights. A commemorative clock tower incorporating horse troughs and a drinking fountain of 1886-7 by Jethro Cossins of Birmingham, gifted to Stratford-upon-Avon by the American publisher George William Childs.

Our final thank you for this season is to everyone who has supported the display this year, from big businesses to small businesses, members of the public to organisations and steak-holders. The lights truly are for the community and organised by the community.

Tonight (6th January) is the last night of the 2024/2025 display. We hope you've enjoyed the lights this festive period. We hope to put on a full display next Christmas and our volunteers will continue to do the best they can with the resources they have.
