Football legend Steve Maxwell passed away today. Aside from his unparalleled achievements as a footballer, Steve actively gave back to the beautiful game. He was a fantastic person who was very kind and generous with his time. He is going to be greatly missed at Karinya.

After 7y as senior coach at Sturt Lions, it's time for a break. 24 was about regeneration with the intro of 14 players into the senior setup 21y or younger with 9 promoted from our Reserves. Been some great moments. Thanks to the many who have been part of the football journey.

Been fortunate to work with some great people in 24. Dan Paterson, Joe Snobl, Sljivo Mirza, Matt Hawyes, Ivan Piovesan, Jakson Messant, Andy Ross, Steve Reed & Gene Laschuk & co. Always in debt to some of the fantastic people I have worked with including Frank Tibaldi and Maxi.
