80% of children 80% diagnosed with cancer are in developing countries. Pediatric Cancer is a global problem and one institution can’t solve it alone - so we need your help! Will you be the difference maker we need to continue supporting our families?

Children who battle cancer are superheroes because they possess the characteristics necessary to defeat a villain like cancer; bravery, strength, compassion, optimism and willpower. Tell us why you think children battling cancer are superheroes in the comments!

Did you know that the causes of childhood cancer are not completely understood? While adult cancers are often linked to lifestyle or environmental factors, cancer in children is different in several ways.

Childhood cancer occurs regularly, randomly and spares no ethnic group, socioeconomic class or geographic region. Will you be the difference maker we need to continue supporting our families?

While Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month is over, our work shouldn’t stop there to help find cure for the thousands of children fighting cancer worldwide. Make sure you continue donating to research and continue to support children and families battling cancer.

Pediatric Cancer not only has an emotional and mental impact on families, but a financial impact as well. The average cost associated with childhood cancer in 2018 was $833,000 for one child for medical costs and lost parental wages.
