Congratulations to Northwestern Qatar students Aneesa Khan and Giordana Bido whose @studio20q film, Woh Ghungroo Wali Larki, has been shortlisted for this year’s CSAFFestival in Chicago. The film follows a young girl as she overcomes societal obstacles to pursue her passion for dancing.

🤩 Northwestern Qatar Alumae Maryam Al-Hail and Fatima Al-Mohannadi shine at @CannesWorldFilm. Their film Maghrib, produced through a grant by Northwestern Qatar student-run club Studio 20Q, won awards Best Student Film and Best Young Actress in a Short Film.
