I’ve been talking to BBC Hampshire & Isle of Wight about our plans to commemorate the iconic Spitfire in its home town. At last week’s event in Number 10 we outlined our plans to change Southampton’s skyline in time to celebrate the 85th anniversary of the Battle of Britain. National Spitfire Project

The Spitfire Monument promises to be a stunning and dramatic landmark on Southampton’s waterfront, within sight of the original Supermarine factory, the birthplace of this remarkable and legendary aircraft. It will pay tribute to a proud chapter in local and national history.

Cracking visit to Hanger 42 last Thursday with the RAFAC Squadron I'm with. Well worth the visit.

It has just been released that the BBMF pilot who sadly died yesterday has been named as Squadron Leader Mark Long. He had been with the BBMF for 4 years and prior to that had been a Typhoon pilot. RIP Sir our thoughts are with your family, colleagues at the BBMF and the RAF.

Last week our big beautiful girl Kayla fell sick and would not eat anything for 4 days. After bloods and a anti sickness drug she is now on the mend. Apparently there is a nasty bug doing the rounds effecting dogs. Our fur babies really make us worry

Well after a fantastic relaxing week in Cornwall after visiting our favourite places like Fowey, Padstow, Boscastle etc we are home. Only another 365 days until we are back or are they?

It is with great sadness that we report the passing of Alan Pollock, RAF Hawker Hunter pilot. In 1968 he famously flew through Tower Bridge, London in protest at defence cuts. We worked with Alan to replicate this act for our Hunter release. RIP, we salute you. 🫡
