Yesterday for the first time a female Lady Chief Justice swore in a female Lord Chancellor (officiated by a female Clerk of the Crown). History.

It’s 50 years since the Great Britain-China Centre was formed. I spoke at an event to celebrate all it has achieved, both in facilitating dialogue and increasing UK-China understanding. The UK will have a strong, consistent, and strategic approach to China.
