Have moved to @[email protected] Honestly it's lovely over there. Have had more spontaneous, good conversations in the past few weeks than I have had in years on here. If you want a place to connect with people where the algorithm and ads are absent, come join me

Look. I've said it before and I'll say it again. If Harry has a problem with his family then he needs to persuade the French to fund him, raise an army, invade and seize the crown. What else was Brexit for, if not to restore traditional British approaches and values?

saw this photo of a Lower East Side apartment and thought "damn, that looks like it might be cheap, that's gotta be what, $2200 a month?" Then I checked and it was a photo from the Tenement Museum

This isn't even the whole protest! There are *so so many* people here! It's incredible and the roar of the crowd can be heard throughout the entire city centre.

This! 100% this! I have been watching all the coverage of chat gpt and bing etc and feeling this but struggled to put it on to words. These models are what we have said they are because we have trained them on what we have said about them. theverge.com/23604075/ai-chโ€ฆ

Do you have an idea of how to accelerate scientific progress on socially important problems? If so โ€” and if seed funding for a research project would help โ€” please apply to a new re-granting program Paul Niehaus, Caleb Watney, and I are co-leading.

This open letter โ€” ironically but unsurprisingly โ€” further fuels AI hype and makes it harder to tackle real, already occurring AI harms. I suspect that it will benefit the companies that it is supposed to regulate, and not society. Letโ€™s break it down. ๐Ÿงตfutureoflife.org/open-letter/paโ€ฆ
