Saturday saw Freddie play his last game for Strikerz as he moves on to enjoy his football with another group of mates. It’s been an absolute pleasure coaching & getting to know Freddie the last few yrs & we’ll continue to watch him progress.

My lads have started playing Basketball. The coach says 2/3 strongest players at the age group (8-11) will play more game time to develop them more to play higher. The rest will rotate equally. (I have a lad in each category) Is this a good idea? 🤔

The news of all football stopping now for the season was inevitable. 8/9/10 yr olds not playing football for 2 hrs a week for 3/4 months really isn’t a big deal. Enjoy other things for a while. My kids will be painting the house and sorting the garden!! 😂😂
