Racism is not just a phenomenon that happens TO Black People; it also happens THROUGH black people. Racism turned inwards, lateral violence, these are words that are the outcome of unreconciled black identity formation which sees those who’ve experienced extreme racism,

my tinnitus is so bad that i genuinely wonder if i’ll be able to hear anything over this loud ringing someday. which sucks but also will give me the gift of being more outspoken about what matters to me. fuck fascism. fuck your trans genocide. fuck the billionaire police state.

Directing harassment at someone for the crime of not liking cops enough, right after her boyfriend was murdered in front of her, is one of the worst things I've ever seen on this site. Irredeemable 4chan bullshit

‘What we do already know and what has been reinforced during this referendum is that Australia urgently needs a national anti-racism framework and bipartisan response to racism.’ Yes. It’s imperative. theguardian.com/commentisfree/…

I fear we’re about to get a very clear signal of just how racist and bigoted this country is, and let’s not pretend that it’s not, abundant evidence points to it being true. Heartbroken.

The Greens condemn the horrific attacks on civilians. We condemn the occupation. It's time for a just and lasting peace. To achieve peace the occupation of Palestine must end.

We would probably be doing ok without the forced child removals; the massacres; dispossession of our lands; forced relocations; the legally sanctioned killings; the destruction of culture, the ongoing human rights abuses But, yeah other than that-colonialism was tops..

Protests not allowed in Australia: - free Palestine - end Blak deaths in custody - stop the climate crisis Protests allowed in Australia: - [redacted] the Premier - destroy trans people - pro white supremacy/NAZIsm

I’m just so happy this referendum has brought to light the many, many friendships racists have with Local True Aboriginal Elders they’ve hidden from us for all these years.

Australia’s Environment Minister siding with coal companies wins the right to ignore the climate impacts when approving new coal mines. Well, at least now it’s clear whose side she is on. theguardian.com/environment/20…

Alan Dershowitz is now touring all the media studios to call for a genocidal mass slaughter of Palestinians. So here's a thread of him getting absolutely demolished by Norman Finkelstein. He was humiliated so badly that afterwards he went out of his way to get Finkelstein fired

Until Australia as a country & nation embraces Blackfullas we won’t have a real national identity. Until then it’s little Britain here.

Referendums are a question of Principle. Detail is legislated in Parliament after the fact. Asking for more detail is a hole-in-the-bucket argument - you can never bring them enough. Its a deliberate tactic by the Opposition to derail Indigenous advancement.

Stephen Long (@stephenlongaus) 's Twitter Profile Photo

I completely agree with Laura. The ABC requiring “equal time” has platformed disinformation on the Voice and created a false impression about the level of Indigenous support for the No case. When one side is relying on fear and lies, “equal time” isn’t fair, it’s failure.

Never been more ashamed to be Australian. We killed them, stole their land and their children, and we can't even have the basic fucking human decency to recognise that they were here first and to listen to them about issues affecting them. We're a racist country. #Referendum2023
