Right-wing Illinois Policy: "A 25¢ fare increase for CTA riders. They already raised fares in 2018." Sure, fare hikes aren't great for poor people. But there's this thing called inflation. A $2.50 'L' ride in 2018 is worth $3.22 today. So a $2.75 ride is a relative bargain.
