Reflecting on our PE lesson, P6 felt it was loud but very enjoyable. We had to play as a team. Lots of great participation and many different skills being used.

So peaceful. P6 are using so many learning powers (have a go, concentrate, use your imagination, keep improving…) as we write our stories. Now we are peer assessing our writing. scotgovCYPIC SBC Education

Today in P1 we've been learning about the number 8. We've been practising writing it, counting out 8 objects and thinking about the numbers before and after.

P5 enhanced their learning about bees from Bee Keeper Lindsay. She brought us lots of interesting activities including pollinator identification, making wax candles, trying on suits and taste testing her bees’ honey and an award winning one. We loved them both. SBC Education

P4 were enjoying the lovely sunshine on their first outdoor learning trip to the park today. We were hunting for minibeasts and found some great spiders and flies. Thank you Ranger Cody from Go Wild Scotland g@SBCOutdoorEd SBC Education

Yes they really did say Christmas cards in September grown-ups! A sneaky peak at what's to come. Less than 100 sleeps now. 😀

Improving our prosody in P6. We are using the ‘read, record’ strategy to help us, along with a learning partner for some verbal feedback. alexquigley @sbcliteracy

P6 are excited to be part of the launch of us being the Tapestry Tour guides this year. We have met Mrs Veitch, the education officer at the Tapestry, and can’t wait to get started. Today we’ve learned so many facts about the tapestry. Education Officer Great Tapestry of Scotland The Great Tapestry of Scotland

P5 are learning about fluency in their reading. We are using the poem The Three-Headed Dog by Clare Bevan. We’ve recorded ourselves reading the poem in parts, before reviewing and thinking about what we can do better. Lovely confidence emerging. SBC Education LiteracySBC
