Year 6- Mathematics In Year 6 we have been studying algebra. We used concrete equipment, drew pictures and then completed the abstract calculations. This approach really helped us to understand algebra! It isn't really that hard at all!

Anais Massey- Y6 travelled all the way to Bath to meet Emma Carroll, who is one of her favourite authors. Emma spent time chatting to Anais and signed her huge collection of books. Anais loved meeting her and had a wonderful time! Emma tweeted this picture of Anais.

Katherine Morrissey Y4 Katherine Morrissey met the renowned author Jaqueline Wilson at The Sage over the Easter holidays. Katherine is huge fan and loved the talk and meeting her. She's even written a short story and sent it to Dame Jacky! Well done Katherine!

As part of our work towards the Green Tree Award, Y3 and 4 were asked over the Easter to design a Tree Champion. The Tree Champion had to be a creature that would live in the forest and protect all the trees and nature. Our overall winner was Zara Mellett. Well done everyone
