🦈🙌 One year ago the European Citizens' Initiative #StopFinningEU hit over 1.1 million votes of support for a trade ban on shark fins in Europe. ↪️ Today StopFinningEU will meet European Commission representatives and make the case to translate EU citizens' wishes to a #FinBanNow.

First meeting with the representatives of the European Citizens’ #StopFinning Initiative, asking to end the trade of shark fins that collected 1.1 million signatures! We will be assessing it thoroughly in the next months to react & act properly on this very important request.
