At the September 8 Board of Education meeting, Principal Sandy Rusher presented Stone Creek Elementary - Derby Public Schools’s Needs Assessment & building goals, with a focus of increasing third through fifth grade Kansas Assessment Program (KAP) test scores by 3% in English Language Arts, Math & Science.

Patriot Day is a national day of remembrance for the nearly 3,000 people who lost their lives and the thousands injured during the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. It also honors the bravery of first responders & all those who helped others during and after the tragedy.
