The RBSA Candidates Exhibition runs until this Saturday and features the work of 21 artists. Not only is this a stunning exhibition, it also forms a vital part in the process of shaping the future of the Society as new Members are elected.

This is mega news. Niall Keating has a stellar track record, not least at Whatley Manor which is a class act, so I can't wait to see what he does here in the city. As may have been mentioned, Manchester is absolutely having a moment. Bring on 'Tender' Gary Neville and Stock Exchange Hotel.

Thank you to judges of Woore & District Vegetable and Produce Show and the many kind, complimentary comments from visitors. First prize in Class 83 is pleasing but more so the village gathering and support for a show that’s now generations old. Long may it continue.

“Ring o Roses” is inspired by the talent of Katherine Priddy and an intimate tiny Madeley gig back in 2022. Although the canvas is warped and out of square, stored in my cold studio, it’s being exhibited for the first time in my Locus Exhibition at Chapters Café, Arts Keele

Kelvin Bowers ran from Stoke to Sydney in the 70s. I now meet him for a pint in St Ives when I’m able. His story features in my Locus Exhibition at Keele University 🐿️

People ask who the cat is in my exhibitions. The short answer, I haven’t a clue. She pays me a visit in the studio, sometimes sleeps, sometimes explores, but rarely stays for more than a few minutes. See the “studio visitor” in Locus Exhibition at Arts Keele until 9 December.
