Have you ever noticed how much lower the interest rate you get when you give the bank your money is than the interest rate you pay when you borrow money from them?

Some normally intelligent people on here are losing their minds over the idea of a 50-year mortgage. Lots of variables here, it could be a foot in the door, you can always re-fi, you can make extra payments to principal… Like most things in life, not unequivocally good or evil
