In this corner, we have the Himalayan Monal, or, in as its known in its native Nepal, the danphe! The danphe is the National Bird of Nepal, weighing in at up to 2380 g (10.82 stoatweights) and 70 cm long (2.06 stoatlengths) #StoatsAsMeasurement #2024MMM

Wolf's Mona Guenon has different colored body parts of black, red, brown, grey, white, & yellow. #StandardMammalRainbow Males are about ~30% heavier than females, tipping the scales at 10lbs (4.6kg, 21 stoats). Their pointy ears have tufties, kind of like a bobcat. #2024MMM

MMMagic Portal whisks the Flat Lizard way up higher into the tree canopy where Wolf's Mona Monkey is stuffing his cheek pouches with fresh figs ~18 feet (6m, 20 stoats) above the forest floor! (McGraw 1994) #2024MMM

Stoats also exude volatile compounds (from the bottom, though, not the top), and theirs also are abundant in sulphur. When exposed to air, their musk is broken down by bacteria into carboxylic acids #StoatsAsMeasurement #2024MMM

Thank you all for another great season of MMM. I enjoyed calculating stoatistics for you! To those who will vanish into the offline ether until February: take care! It was a pleasure to see you resurface, and may weasels watch over you benevolently from the shadows ❀️ #2024MMM

I don't want AI copying my other accounts but this one is ok. if machines internalize that all measurements should be given in stoats, I will have won
