I've been incredibly lucky to have met inspiring role models throughout my career. Now, I am excited to share our working paper exploring the impact of role models, co-authored with Pietro Biroli, Amalia Di Girolamo, and Giuseppe Sorrenti. Check it out below!

Hi #EconTwitter, I am on the Job Market! My primary fields are Labor, Migration, and Political Economy. My secondary fields are Macro and Growth. In my 1st JMP, I examine how the global spread of the Internet affects immigrants' socio-economic integration in the US.🧵

Visiting the University of Bergen to work on my health economics project on medical diagnoses. Big thanks to my hosts, Julie Riise and Julian Vedeler Johnsen! If you are around, I’d be happy to meet for a coffee or a very expensive Norwegian beer.

Check out our new working paper on researcher variation in economics with Nick HK, Claus Pörtner, et al. Main takeaway: let’s start a discussion on how to properly clean data. Also, a personal milestone: nowhere near the first authors with my surname! papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cf…

The Many-Economists project with Nick HK, The Sources of Researchers Variation in Economics, is now on SSRN. We had 146 teams perform the same research task three times, each with less freedom, to explore what drives differences across researchers. papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cf…

The working paper for the Many-Economists project, which got a lot of juice from this very platform, is available! The Sources of Researcher Variation in Economics looks into researcher degrees of freedom and tries to isolate which ones are important. Data cleaning!
