Giving thanks for my ordination as priest 40 years ago on the Solemnity of SS Peter and Paul, 29th June 1985. Alleluia animam meam occupavit, Tibi, Christe, omnes laudes meas tribuo. It’s also Mr Peter’s special day, for on this day 15 years ago he came to live at the Vicarage.
