The children in EYFS have been fascinated to learn all about Chinese traditions and how families gather to celebrate around the world. The children have also loved making their own paper dragons, lanterns and puppets to retell the story of the Chinese Zodiac.

Year 1 have been learning about landscapes and the artist Monet. They looked at some of his paintings and talked about how he enjoyed painting the different seasons in the outdoors. The children then used colour and texture to paint a landscape in the style of Monet.

EYFS have started their new topic 'Pole to Pole' this week. The children have loved exploring the Arctic and the animals they may find there. The children have started to create their own globes and have enjoyed looking at atlases, comparing their own country to the North Pole.
