The parks department regrets to inform the public that due to an equipment failure late Friday afternoon, Krug Pool will not be open this weekend. During startup procedures, the circulation pump serving the swimming pool failed and a replacement cannot be obtained until next week

We regret to inform the public that due to continued equipment failures, we will not be opening Krug Pool on June 5 as expected. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

The outdoor pools may not be open, however; there is still a place to swim. Try the Looney Indoor pool at Missouri Western State University!

Park update June 6, 2019 - Hyde Courts, nets are back up but surface is rough. Krug Pool, continued equipment failures, still closed. Nature Center remains closed, the river is rising again.

We are experiencing some technical difficulties at the Aquatic Park. As a result, the pool will not open today. We are working hard to make repairs and will open as soon as we can correct the issues.

Repairs have been made to the Aquatic Park and we are adding water to fill up the area that lost water this morning during the repair. We anticipate opening sometime this afternoon, after 1 pm. Thank you for your understanding and patience.
