🙏 A #prayer for #Harvest Dear Lord, Thanks for our wonderful world: for sun and rain which nurture the growth of our food. We pray for those who are less fortunate, that they will not go hungry, but instead delight in your plenty with the support of their communities. Amen.

🙏 Join us as we #pray for all in the Early Years Foundation Stage (#EYFS) and Key Stage 1 (#KS1); that their early experiences of school and education are fun, safe and excellent foundations on which to progress to Key Stage 2.

🙏 The Church of England #prayers with #poppies As you wear your poppy: give thanks for the lives of those who have died in war; ask God to be near those facing danger and to give them courage and compassion; ask God to comfort those who are grieving the loss of someone they love.

🤍♥️This week in collective worship we have been considering the meaning and importance of ‘sacrifice’. Every single child has made and laid a poppy at the front of school to remember those who have made sacrifices for our freedom. ♥️🤍#RemembranceDay #WeWillRememberThem

This morning, children in Years 5&6 attended St James’ Church in Wollaston to participate in a very special act of remembrance. After a service of reflection and thanksgiving, the children laid their handmade poppies in front of the war graves. ♥️ #RemembranceDay #WeWillRemember

We want to say a HUGE thank you to the parent who has made us these fantastic kitchens! The children LOVE using the messy kitchen area during our OPAL lunchtimes and we can now extend it so that even more children can benefit. 👍🏻💙

🚯♻️Last month, in their first Eco-Council meeting, our class eco-councillors discussed the importance of looking after our local area and one of the children suggested a litter pick. Today, Eco-Council collected 7 buckets full of litter! Well done Eco-Council! ♻️🚯

This time yesterday, Y5&6 Rainbow Choir were having the time of their lives performing alongside thousands of other children at BP Pulse Live Arena, Birmingham. Their behaviour was outstanding and we are exceedingly proud of how well they represented our school! 🎼🎶🎵🎤

Y1 had a fantastic time on their visit to St James Wollaston. They learnt all about what Christians believe God is like and why the church is such an important part of our local community. They sang some of their favourite worship songs and shared prayers that they had written. ⛪️✝️🙏🏻

What a fantastic time we had at St James’ Church this morning thinking about ‘The Power of Prayer’. We drew ‘Grateful Graffiti’, tied our prayers of confession onto ‘Sorry Strings’ and made ‘Please Paper Chains’. ✝️⛪️🙏🏻 #TheStJamesWay #LetYourLightShine #PrayerChangesThings
