S Stephen O'Neill Here's a statue in Newry of a young man from the town named Patrick Rankin. Not only did he fight in the Easter Rising in Dublin, he cycled to Dublin to do it. People from all over Ireland were involved.

Stephen O'Neill The author, Séamas O'Reilly I remember sitting in a lecture by disgraced former newspaper columnist Eoghan Harris where he reckoned the only good female novelist was Jane Austin but that was because she wrote like a man. He had no part in any revolution afterwards as far as I’m know.

Stephen O'Neill I, for one, am shocked that 26 counties in the free state were able to scrounge enough men and women together to outnumber the 6 whole counties of the north

Stephen O'Neill It happened without your lot, proven you wrong. I understand your attempt to colonise Dublins history, you came from a place that thought Scap was modern Mallin.

Stephen O'Neill But surely that is an example of how men are getting married older

Stephen O'Neill You lot are great at commemorating a rebellion your people played no part in. If history is anything to go by, you'll be claiming the protesters in Dublin in the future.
