In a grammatical dog’s breakfast of a letter Ed Miliband makes it clear he has no idea how to decarbonise the electricity grid by 2030, despite all Labour’s promises, and somewhat desperately appeals to the National Grid operator for help/ideas.

Whilst announcing up to £600m cuts to public services, John Swinney indicates that his mate Angus Robertson will not face any cuts to his constitutional budget. Apparently this is the move that will make the public trust the SNP again. Really John?

Today the Scottish Finance Secretary Shona Robison will update parliament on the emergency budget controls required to balance the Scottish Budget for 2024-25. We understand around £600m of reductions are required.

Untruth piled upon untruth. This is the results of an auction process started by the Tories in March. Their 2023 auction round produced no deals because the subsidies were not big enough. So they increased the subsidises for the 2024 round. Hence the take up under you, even

The Scottish Government chose to spend £209 million on a tax cut this year (the Council Tax freeze). To now turn round and claim that its budget shortfall is the fault of Westminster is just staggering. It's time people saw the SNP blame game for what it is - a flat out lie.

Look at Annex A. £115m savings required within the Health and Social Care Portfolio, but not one penny in savings to be made by Airmiles Angus’ department. What is his hold over Swinney et al? gov.scot/publications/s…

Anyone surprised that Angus’ budget was not only uncut, but actually increased, at a time that budgets such as Health and Social care were have to save £118m? Shona apparently wants you to believe his portfolio was the only one with previous govt commitments.

As the GB Energy Bill passes second reading, a quick reminder of how incredibly dodgy the maths behind Labour's energy policies is. (1/?)

OMG the SNP Govt has admitted most of a £97million pot of cash given to it by Westminster to fix unsafe cladding after the Grenfell disaster has been spent on other things. After this tragedy the SNP don’t know how many buildings are affected in Scotland. dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottish-…

@CllrSharon_Greer (@cllrsharong) 's Twitter Profile Photo

It’s shocking that years after Grenfell, Scotland still has dangerous cladding on hundreds of homes. Only £11m of the £97m in funding has been used for remediation. Where’s the rest? Who knows, but apparently it’s gone. Time for this lot to be booted out!

The Scottish Government admits to spending £97 million given by Westminster to fix unsafe cladding on other projects. At the same time, it admits to not knowing how many buildings are affected. This is scandalous behaviour by the SNP government 👇 dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottish-…

Wow! How many public sector pensioners expected their pensions to remain safe post-independence. Well have I got news for you.

I wonder if this’ll stop the Scottish Govt and the SNP using the “We’ve lifted 100,000 children out of poverty” line? Probably not. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

#NHS In 1999, the population was 58m with 1m NHS staff. In 2023, the population is 68m with 1.8m NHS staff. The population has risen 15% (which is far too high also) but staff has risen 80%. What on earth are they all doing? #Starmergeddon
